Seraphim Manor is striving to provide a faith-based transitional housing facility for battered and abused women. We will be structured to offer sanctuary and hope to the mature woman 40 and older. We will not be equipped to attend to the needs of children but rather focus on the older abused woman and her unique needs.
We will offer:

Emotional support by individual and group counseling with professionals that specialize in the needs of the victim and the abuser

Spiritual counseling with one-on-one sessions as well as group studies

An opportunity for sharing and healing
- Job training to qualify you to be a productive member of the workforce
- Assistance with low-income housing qualification
Domestic violence is the number one killer of women in the country today, outnumbering even devastating diseases such as cancer and heart disease.
Concern for the older battered woman emerged in the 1990's because of the failure of the existing systems of care to address their needs.
